Conference House Historic 1776 Challenge

Tue August 16 - Mon October 31 Staten Island, NY 10307 US

Description

Join us for the third annual Conference House Historic 1776 Challenge to commemorate the Peace Conference that took place at Staten Island's Conference House on September 11, 1776. This year we have TWO challenges to choose from, and your participation in either option will support the maintenance of the Conference House Museum and the educational programming we provide to the community. As an added bonus, all participants who register by September 10, 2022 will receive one free admission to the 1776 Peace Conference Celebration on September 17, 2022!

Virtual Challenge Information:

We invite you to walk, run, hop, skip or jump as many miles as you can between now and October 31st 2022. Complete your miles at your own pace, on your own schedule, and anywhere your feet can take you! You will be able to log your miles for each activity on RunSignUp to keep track of the total distance you've traveled within the time frame.

Will you log a 5k, 10k or maybe a historic 177.6 miles? Challenge yourself and see how far you can go!

Virtual + In-Person Challenge Information:

Participants who select this option will complete the same virtual challenge above in addition to joining us for a 5K fun run/walk on the beautiful trails at Conference House Park on September 10, 2022. Although this will be an untimed and noncompetitive fun run/walk, we encourage you to add these miles to your virtual challenge! Participants who sign up for this option will receive a Conference House headband!

For more information regarding this and other 2022 events, please visit our website.

Register today and be a part of history! If you are unable to participate in either challenge, you are welcome to make a donation through this page. Thank you for your support.
