Description
As we came out of one of the tunnels in the rails to trails bike route between Levanto and Framura near the Cinque Terre coast of Italy, the bell tower of the Chiesa Di Santa Caterina d'Alessandria stood out against the beautiful sky and mountainous background. The church’s construction likely originally took place in the first half of the 16th century but it transformed to a baroque design and dedicated in 1668. Like most other historic churches and building, it has undergone reconstructions and redesigns since then.
