Texans will have good visibility of the Geminid meteor shower as it dances across the night sky, according to AccuWeather.

According to the American Meteor Society, the Geminids are usually the strongest meteor shower of the year. AMS says this is the one major shower that provides good activity prior to midnight.

The best time to view the celestial display will start at dusk on Friday, December 13 and run through dawn of Saturday, December 14.

The AMS says the 2019 Geminids showing could bring as many as 150 meteors per hour.
