Jason Momoa has apologized to Chris Pratt after shaming him on social media for holding a single-use plastic water bottle in an ad for his new Amazon campaign.

The "Aquaman" star — who is a United Nations advocate on oceans — called out Pratt's use of plastic in an Instagram post on Tuesday but just a few hours later reconsidered his very public reaction.

Momoa dedicated his own Instagram post to Pratt, writing that he and his family loved the actor and apologizing for the way he went about expressing his environmental concerns.

"I'm sorry this was received so badly today I didn't mean for that to happen," Momoa wrote.

Pratt responded to Momoa's commented saying: "'Aquaman!' You're completely right. Dammit. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug around with me too. I even had it that day!!!"

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor said the reason he was holding the plastic bottle was that he didn't know what to do with his hands during the photo shoot so a crew member threw the bottle to him.

Pratt finished his apology to Momoa by providing a message to fans: "I don't want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle."

Earlier this year, Momoa launched a brand of 100% recyclable aluminum water cans, Mananalu.
