For the first time ever, BMW is planning to build and sell a production M3 Touring. Even though the company confirmed it won't be coming to the U.S., we're still pretty hyped. So far, we've only seen camouflaged prototypes of the car lurking around the Nürburgring—until now, that is.

BMW released a promotional video to show off its new line of car accessories yesterday, and while it's a little cringe-worthy, it shows off a whole bunch of great M cars new and old. Around the 1:17 mark, right after we see an M2 do a burnout on its way to make a pizza delivery, the camera pans to a person sitting on the tailgate of what looks to be a production-ready M3 Touring while reading a newspaper.

This is the first time BMW has shown off the M3's longroof variant without camo. While we don't get a good look at the entire car, it's certainly more than nothing. According to previous rumors, the Touring will come standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, with no three-pedal option available. Not that it matters since, again, it's not coming Stateside.

It's worth noting there's also a short clip within the video showing an M-branded electric charging station being installed onto a sidewalk. Currently, there are no plug-in M cars—a hint of what's to come? Probably.

Do you think BMW should bring the M3 Touring to the United States? Are you looking forward to BMW's future lineup of plug-in performance cars? Let us know in the comments.
