Wild Widebody Restomod C4 is Quintessential '80s

If you're as much of a fanatic for '80s style as we are, you're going to love the pure 'Rad' spirit of this heavily modded C4. But the story behind this head-turning build is more fascinating than you might think. This old 'Vette traveled from the US of A all the way to Sweden to get a major reconstructive surgery!

Chop Job

Jim Björk is a Swedish madman who's known for his love of American muscle. His latest project, though, is perhaps the most interesting one. Björk imported this unassuming C4 last year and immediately began modifying it to his liking. Starting with a front bumper cover design that was originally meant for another '80s/'90s icon, the Nissan 180SX. And amazingly, it fits the look of the Corvette seamlessly.

Wide Body

The next order of business was fitting those wide and spaced-out tires underneath the bodywork. And that's where the crazy bolt-on widebody kit comes into play. The fender flares were custom-built for this specific car. And they give the C4 an appropriately retro-futuristic look.

Successful Project

Other parts of the kit were added on one-by-one to bring the project to completion. And to top it all off, Björk decided to coat this cool 'Vette with a Porsche aqua shade of paint. And the loud color scheme matches the personality of the car perfectly.

Powerful Stance

The powerful and muscular stance of the C4 by Björk is on display in this shot. And so is that fittingly exaggerated rear wing that bears Björk's brand name. With such a strong '80s character, it's no wonder this cool-looking re-imagination of the Corvette has garnered so much worldwide attention.

Started from the Bottom...

Jim Björk started with a red C4 Corvette that he imported to his native Sweden. And after his months of work on every inch of the car has turned a classic into a real representation of an '80s poster car. And for those who fancy one of these bad boys in their own garage, Björk is going to start selling these custom kits later this year!
