Tinderbox SPARKS is an original band and orchestra for players aged S1- S6 who are Grade 1- Grade 5 (as a guide) or who can play 5 or more notes on their instrument. It brings together different styles from songwriting and rap to jazz, rock and classical, and we are working with Dynamic Earth to write new music inspired by original video footage and exhibitions! 🎼🎹🎷🎺🎸🎻🎤

Our experienced team of tutors bring together different genres of music and educational approaches from different traditions; rap and songwriting to jazz and classical and everything in between to produce a truly unique experience for participants.
For this course, even beginner musicians will gain experience in live improvisation, play together as a band and writing our own new composition together!
All instruments and singers/ songwriters and styles are welcome!
If you do not have an instrument at home that you can use or your instrument needs repaired. We may be able to loan you one from our instrument library. Contact us on info@tinderboxcollective.org for more info!

I’ve never really been so obsessed with going and doing something, Ive done loads of other clubs that I’ve been good at but ever since Tinderbox, Ive been really fascinated with it and really want to do music!
