President Trump has fired Chris Krebs, Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), after Krebs disputed claims that the U.S. 2020 Presidential Election was insecure and fraudulent.
Trump appointed Krebs as the first director of CISA after it was established on November 16, 2018, as part of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Act of 2018.
Before and after the media projected Joe Biden as the winner of the US 2020 Presidential Election, President Trump claimed that fraud and security issues were rampant during the election.
However, Krebs has stated that the 2020 elections was the most secure in history and helped create the CISA Rumor Control site to dispel election-related conspiracy theories and misinformation.
In a tweet today, Kreb reiterated that security experts all agree that claims of election system manipulation are "unsubstantiated or are technically incoherent."
This evening President Trump stated that Krebs' statement was "highly inaccurate" and terminated his position at CISA.
Krebs was respected by those on both sides of the aisle for his non-partisan leadership, depth of knowledge on cybersecurity matters, and commitment to securing the US elections.
Krebs both acknowledged his termination and continued commitment to election security with a tweet from his personal account.
Honored to serve. We did it right. Defend Today, Secure Tomrorow. #Protect2020

Easily predicted...Trump demanded absolute fealty or you get your head lopped off. Facts and honesty have been totally absent throughout Trump's unending campaign for many years. He fooled all of the elective ignorant.

Always more to the story. The fact of the matter is there has been fraud in every election including 2020 with sworn affidavits attesting to it. The slight-of-hand in the media narrative has been 'no widespread' evidence... this may be true but who gets to define what 'widespread' really means? And why would an organized effort to introduce fraud on widespread basis be a foregone conclusion when clearly the swing states is where the focus should be. The media doesn't really chase down the answers like they should... or atleast like they used to. Sad.

Trump knows something or is being told they have conclusive evidence of electronic manipulation. When we get facts then we can all decide.Sidney Powell says they have it.

If anyone in the federal government would know if voting machines had been tampered with in any way....it would be Krebs. Trump firing him proves that Trump didn't want the facts told. Anyone who thinks Trump has info that Krebs didn't give him or knew are simply electing to be ignorant and would believe Trump if he said a flying saucer just landed on the White House lawn.
