The erectile dysfunction specialist -- who appeared on The Bachelorette's twelfth season and the third season of Bachelor in Paradise -- and his clinic engaged in "deceptive entrepreneurial, commercial or business activities," according to state authorities, Us Weekly reported.

Tennessee Attorney General Herbert H. Slatery III filed a complaint against Evan and his clinic over their use alleged use of the misleading marketing campaigns, according to legal documents obtained by Us.

The court documents reportedly allege Evan, 36, and his Tennessee Men's Clinic "sold erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and other men's sexual function treatments" by using "multiple widely-disseminated, deceptive marketing campaigns."

Evan allegedly had "authority to control the deceptive advertising."

The complaint was reportedly filed to "protect consumers and the integrity of the commercial marketplace."

Evan and his clinic were given a minimum of 10 days notice before the state of Tennessee began legal proceedings against them, according to court documents.

Evan has reportedly already signed off on the terms of the $150,000 deceptive advertising fine.

According to Us, the agreement requires Evan and his clinic to make an initial $10,000 down payment and then make monthly payments over the course of the next three years until the $150,000 is paid in full.
