Adam Lambert to headline WXLO's 'Almost ACOUSTIC XMAS' show

WORCESTER — Singer-songwriter and actor Adam Lambert will likely add some electricity when he stars in XLO's "Almost ACOUSTIC XMAS" show 8 p.m. Dec. 12 in Mechanics Hall, 321 Main St.

Lambert had the audience on its feet when he first performed in the show in 2015. Since then the "American Idol" season 8 runner-up and Grammy Award nominee with a phenomenal vocal range has had a cameo in the Oscar-nominated movie "Bohemian Rhapsody," and toured worldwide this summer with Queen. XLO's ACOUSTIC XMAS shows have become a seasonal tradition at Mechanics Hall, and 2019 makes the 11th anniversary of the event and the second time Lambert has headlined.

There will be a special pre-sale for WXLO listeners at 10 a.m. Oct. 17 (go to www.WXLO.com for more information). Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Oct. 18 at www.mechanicshall.org. Tickets are $49, $59 and $69.
