LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Slippery Rock University women's soccer goalkeeper Emma Yoder was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Defensive Athlete of the Week for the fifth time this season, the league office announced Monday.

Yoder earned the honor after helping SRU to a 1-0-0 record last week with a 4-0 victory over Gannon University to conclude the 2019 regular season.

A Marietta, Georgia native, Yoder recorded six saves against the Golden Knights in what was her seventh shutout victory of the season. On the season, the sophomore has a .827 save percentage along with a 0.77 goals against average and 67 saves.
