We are a group of like minded individuals who live or work in Apache Junction who are dedicated to promoting a drug free AJ. With this newsletter our goal is to provide you with monthly content regarding upcoming events, substance abuse resources and education, our community spotlight, and more. So if you're a parent or a caregiver or someone looking to promote a drug free AJ community, you're in the right place!

Sometimes prevention means finding a fun, safe alternative activity. StandUP AJ does its best to keep up to date with events going on near Apache Junction on our Community Calendar. We also make it easy to find AA/NA meetings as well as group therapy sessions. It's all in one place so be sure to check out our Community Events page today.

As you are out and about in the community during this holiday season, please be sure to spread some cheer. It can be as simple as a smile, compliment or lending someone a hand. A little patience can go a long way with those who may be working overtime shifts or taking on extra duties during this busy season.

 Would you like to help create an environment and culture where all children experience success? Register for the Kids at Hope training to learn more about the culture of Kids at Hope and what YOU can do as a caregiver, educator, or simply a community member. New spots have opened up for community members to attend. Belonging to the coalition is not necessary for people to sign up.

StandUp AJ Would Like You To Meet...
Apache Junction High School's JROTC
|
|
|
StandUP AJ is placing the spotlight on Apache Junction High School’s Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. for being exemplary youth in our community. These students performed 1.102 community service hours just this year. Additionally, the students won national and regional awards. They won the Distinguished Unit award which only goes to the top 20% of the more than 500 units in the country
