BeauMents Doppio, the king of sex toys for couples
I admit it: I’ve been curious about this incredibly versatile mini vibrator for a long time.
At this point in my blogging career, my readers probably know well that couples' toys are a very important part of my relationship: they’re the best at bringing in my bedroom a feeling of freshness, newness and fun.
Not that I never use a vibrator or a dildo when I’m alone, but my first goal when I buy adult products is always to bring something new and funny with me when I visit my long distance partner.
That’s why this curious sex toy immediately catched my attention: when I first saw its ad on an industry related publication, I thought that it just looked like a funny-shaped penis ring.
But then I read more about it, and I got to learn that it was way more than that: the BeauMents Doppio's shape is engineered to reach all of the external and internal erogenous zones of both the female and the male body, including the nipples, the clitoris, the G-spot and some sensitive areas of the penis. This obviously made me even more curious to try it!
During a torrid evening this August, I was reading EAN magazine online when I stumbled across this interview to Adrian Schneider and Werner Tiburtius, the heads of ST Rubber, which is the company behind BeauMents Doppio. That’s how I had the opportunity to learn that not only this cute vibrator could be exactly what I was looking for to enjoy together with my partner, but also that there’s a great company behind it, who really cares about offering high quality, safe and functional product to their end consumers. “Both partners need to get pleasure out of the experience”, says Werner Tiburtius, “that’s what makes it a real couples’ toy.”. I can’t agree more!
That said, can you imagine my excitement when ST Rubber reached out to me, asking if I was willing to review not only the classic BeauMents Doppio, but also the new 2.0 version, which features a remote control?

Spoiler: it is! Both the classic Doppio and the 2.0 are packed in a minimal, discreet cardboard box, without naked models that could embarrass your sweetie when they open their gift.
The packaging of the classic Doppio is colorful, and to my pleasure it’s sealed with not just one safety sticker, but two, one for each side of the box!
I found very useful the “how to use” images on the sides: this way a customer who shops in a brick-and-mortar store has the opportunity to see at a first glance how much this mini vibrator is versatile. I can imagine how much those visual instructions would help a salesperson trying to introduce their customers to the product!
Last but not least, at the end of the “how to use” images there are clearly explained the actual measurements of the Doppio. Again, this is very useful for a customer who is shopping in person, especially if there’s not a demo unit available.
Inside the box I found the sex toy itself, along with the charger and an instructional booklet.
The packaging of the 2.0 version, instead, is a real gift box in my opinion. The outer shell, made from cardboard, is as colorful as the packaging of the original Doppio, and enriched with the same “how to use” images on the sides. But it hides a classy white gift box: inside, the cardboard dividers make the unboxing experience feel very luxurious.
The BeauMents Doppio 2.0 lays on the upper side of the box, with its instructional booklet decorated with the photo of a couple in love, while at the bottom, removing the dividers, I can find a luxurious black storage bag made in satin and the charger.
My first impressions on both versions of the sex toy
At a first glance, The Beauments Doppio is way bigger than I expected: I thought it was the size of a standard vibrating penis ring, but it is way bigger! It is actually as long as a mascara. I thought that the version 2.0 would be bigger than the original, but they're exactly the same size and shape.
The only difference I can notice, is the texture of the material to the touch: the classic Doppio feels more soft and velvety, as if it had that special kind of “soft touch” coating made in PU.
The grooves on the larger head of both versions look like they're shaped to maximize clitoral stimulation, let's see!
I was expecting the arms to be more flexible when I saw the "how to use" image that shows the toy pinching the nipple: instead, they're not. Will this mean pinpoint stimulation?
The chargers of the two versions of the toy are identical: I've even swapped them a couple times, and nothing happened. The remote control of the Doppio 2.0 is way tinier than expected: it looks like the TV remote of a smurf! The clock battery required is already included.
The storage bag is lint-free (which I always appreciate!), and big enough to accomodate the BeauMents Doppio 2.0, its charger and the remote. I can even fit in the classic version too with no difficulties, but then I can’t completely close the drawstring!
The classic BeauMents Doppio: a rumbly, versatile sex toy for both partners’ erogenous zones
By reading the instructional booklet, my partner and I learnt that there are separate buttons to control the different stimulating areas of the toy. This means that the “A” button switches on the upper part of the mini vibrator with the two curved arms, (motor 1 and 2) while the “B” brings to life the lower, thicker area (motor 3). Yes, because this tiny, innocent-looking instrument of pleasure packs not one, but THREE motors!
The Motor 3 seems rumblier than motor 1 - 2, and the vibrations are surprisingly powerful: I wasn’t expecting that such a small object would pack so much intensity!
I'm not a fan of the pulsating modes, which seem weaker, while I absolutely love the crescendo settings: modes 5, 6 and 7 are my favourites (but take the numbers with a grain of salt, because I was so intensely immersed in the passion of the moment that I may have counted the modes wrong!)
The rigidity of the two arms makes for pinpoint stimulation, while the grooves on the bottom of the sex toy tickle the most sensitive parts of our bodies. The Doppio was not only well-received as a clitoral stimulator for my satisfaction, but my partner loved it too on his sweet spots!
We honestly found it a little too large to be used as a cockring, but we liked it a lot on nipples, testicles, glans, and all the external erogenous zones.
For what concerns the internal use as a G-spot stimulator, I liked it, but we did insert it with the two curved tips pointed upwards, towards the pubic bone, instead than towards the side of the vagina like it’s shown in the instructional booklet.
The BeauMents Doppio 2.0: same versatility, less dB
The BeauMents Doppio 2.0 is slightly more complicated to use: when you first press the A & B buttons, you get a flashy white light and you need to press again to start playing.
It's a little more silent than the classic in my opinion, which is great even if we think that the slight sound of the original Doppio is already not loud enough to be heard through your room's closed door.
Also, it seems to have more power in the two arms, which makes for an even more satisfying pinpoint stimulation on sensitive areas.
Ten vibration patterns instead of the seven of the classic Doppio mean more possibilities, but I still prefer the last ones. My favourites modes are the ones that feel like a crescendo, represented like spike diagrams in the instructional booklet.
We didn't really feel the need to use the remote control, since we prefer to hold the Doppio 2.0 in our hands rather than having him wear it around his penis during sex, but it works well, and we didn’t have any issue with it.
In summary: a very versatile sex toy for couples, perfect for everyone who likes strong vibrations and pinpoint stimulation
Exactly! I’d really recommend both the two models to all the couples who fancy a little more spice in their sex life.
If I really had to choose between the classic version and the 2.0, I would buy the latter: not perhaps for the remote control, but because it’s slightly more silent and powerful in the upper part. Why not choosing the improved version of a sex toy if it’s available?
But of course, if you’re on a budget, then the classic Doppio is a high quality choice too.
