Why do you coach?

I coach because I want to give back to the game that gave me so much. Realistically, the majority of my happiness in life is related to hockey. I want athletes, especially female, to have a person that they can look up to and say ‘I can do it, because she did’.

The game of hockey has given me the majority of my friends, the bulk of my positive memories and provided me with lessons that I never would have learned without playing. I am who I am because of hockey and I want to help athletes reach their potential through athletics.
