Its most recent funding round was a more than US$1 million Series A by Prasetia Dwidharma and Juvisk, which was announced in May 2016.

A graduate of the Google Launchpad Accelerator programme, Qlue also offers B2B services for property developers to implement smart city technology in their properties.

The platform has been involved in a controversy when a group of neighbourhood heads filed a petition to the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) to discontinue the use of Qlue in filing financial reports to the government.
