WPD investigating break-in at Family Dollar

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department is investigating reports of a break-in at a Family Dollar early Tuesday morning.
According to WPD officials, officers responded to the store located on S. 17th Street after an alarm activation.
Officers found the front window broken and a power panel open where power was cut to the store.
Officials said the front counter of the store was ransacked but it is not clear at this time what was taken.
Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to contact the WPD or to use Text-A-Tip.
