Doom In Analog (D*I*A) Electric Blanket

Information

Doom In Analog (D*I*A)

*Moving workshop more will be available once I get set up*

This is a stompbox adaptation of the preamp of an early 70's British Graphic 120 head.

It's taken me 2 years to cook this one and I'm pretty darn happy with it.

What I have ended up with is something that does Low to Medium gain and can push the front end of your tube amp into saturation (my favorite way of using it).

Stacks with pedals very well. Extending the gain too much resulted in unrealistic sounds and not accurate to what the actual amp sounds like, especially seeing as the most revered sounds from the graphics came from running pedals in front. It could be just the thing your board needs.

Designed to be rugged enough to stay on your touring board and work well with the array of the backline that will be thrown at you.

Only the best parts I can buy go into the Doom In Analog range.

I'm a big guy so a heavy duty footswitch was a must. I use Alpha true bypass footswitches which are the best available on the market.

Electrolytic Capacitors (the one thing the manufacturer will give you a lifespan estimate on) are only the best I can find.

  • Neutrik connectors
  • Alpha heavy duty footswitch
  • Panasonic/Illinois Capacitor/Nichicon/NRSG Japan electrolytics
  • Powdercoated and Screenprinted enclosure
  • 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects
  • Runs on a 9v centre negative standard 2.1mm power supply input (Boss style)
