TRAFFIC ALERT: Cape Fear Memorial Bridge opening at noon

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Heads up, Wilmington motorists. The Cape Fear Memorial Bridge is expected to open around 12 p.m. Friday.

According to the CFMB's bridge tender, the US Coast Guard Cutter Diligence is coming back to the Port City, causing the opening.

The Isabel Holmes Bridge is not expected to open, so plan to take that route if you're heading in or out of town around noon.
