Who do we need?
We are currently seeking two entry-level Client Service Associates with an internship with a Registered Investment Advisor under his or her belt. This individual should exemplify TrueWealth’s core values of integrity, excellence, caring, optimism, balance, and accountability.
What will you do?
Client Service Associates play a vital role in our client service teams making this position an outstanding starting point for a career in financial planning and wealth management. In this entry-level position, our Associates learn the nuts and bolts of the client service relationship through managing all administrative aspects of the client relationship. This position provides ample opportunity for growth as an Advisor and we provide support to our Associates in their pursuit of the Certified Financial Planner designation.
Successful applicants will be polished self-starters with excellent communication skills and a solid command of technology. The responsibilities of this Financial Planner-track position demand a strong client service orientation, an acute attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. The fast pace of our office requires team members to possess self-confidence, a positive attitude, flexibility and an ability to continuously manage multiple priorities and tasks.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Sets up and maintains client accounts.
- Maintains contact with clients to provide or to obtain updated information, to schedule meetings with advisors and to troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinates new accounts, asset transfers and account maintenance with the Firm’s Investment Custodian (Schwab Institutional).
- Compiles client and firm paperwork.
- Facilitates various client requests.
- Sets up in-house client meetings.
- Works with portfolio administrator and wealth advisors to coordinate opening new accounts.
- Performs administrative duties on behalf of senior advisors such as typing correspondence, memoranda, meeting notes and agendas.
