A near complete set of Roman copper-alloy dividers dating from AD 43 - 410. The dividers have two nearly intact arms with just the end points missing. The top half of the arms are rectangular and flat. They step narrower about half way down, and the lower ars are D shaped in cross-section. The decoration is restricted to two incised chevrons above, and two below a pair of incised transverse lines just above the reduction in width. The lower section one arm is quite corroded and the original pointed ends are missing.

Incomplete copper-alloy dividers, likely of Roman date (AD 43–410).
The dividers have one nearly intact arm that is broken at the lower section before it would have come to a point. A dome-shaped boss that forms the end of the spindle is threaded through the near complete arm and the partial remains of the second arm. The dome is decorated with an incised radial design, but the attached spindle is broken and is missing the opposing terminal. A pair of complete cast copper alloy dividers of probable late Roman or early Saxon date. The dividers take the form of two long, straight arms that taper to a point; the arms are in the closed position. The arms are held at the top by an iron spindle (indicated by iron corrosion), forming a hinge.
