Weekly Round Up #141

This week Uber rebrands for a (hopefully) more global, less hyper-masculine feel. Of course Harvard has colour detectives. We remember actor Fenella Fielding, she of the smoky voice. Fancy watching what was surely John Lennon's career nadir on a Jerry Lewis telethon? After that, make yourself feel even sicker with this story about not-so-fresh-fish.

Follow that car!

Uber has rebranded for the second time in less than three years. Wolff Olins has tried to move away from the hyper masculine identity of yore and to create a mark that works in markets (such as India) where many people can't read.
All of the colours
Apparently there is a pigment library at Harvard where pigments, dyes, and materials are used as reference tools in the quest to restore and protect great works of art.
John's Nadir?
This 1972 telethon featuring John & Yoko trying to sanitise their reputation in the States makes for quite painful viewing.
Funny Girl
Actor Fenella Fielding has died. She will forever be remembered for her immortal line in '60s movie, 'Carry on Screaming',  – "do you mind if I smoke?”
Something fishy
A fish shop in Kuwait was recently shut down for using googly eyes to make fish look fresh.
