Endo-ERN was present at the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology Meeting 2018. For the whole duration of the meeting we had a stand together with EuRRECa and there was a special Endo-ERN symposium.

From 27 to 29 September we were present at the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) Meeting 2018, in Athens, Greece.

The Endo-ERN symposium was held on Friday September 28th, from 9:30-11:00 hrs. It consisted of a general introduction of Endo-ERN and its scope and a talk from two different Endo-ERN patient advocacy group representatives presenting their perspective. This was followed by a presentation on congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) transition and an explanation of the European Registries for Rare Conditions (EuRRECa) project. The symposium was very well attended and we thank everyone who was present.

The stand, manned together with EuRRECa, was a great opportunity for us to meet congress attendants and increase the general awareness of Endo-ERN. We informed many attendants about the scope of ERNs and the opportunity to consult European experts through our network. We hope that as the awareness about rare endocrine conditions and Endo-ERN increases we can achieve our goal of improving access to high-quality healthcare for all patients with a rare endocrine condition.

We want to thank everyone that took the opportunity to drop by and hope everyone found the ESPE meeting as enjoyable and informative as we did!
