India speedster Mohammad Shami seems to have found his mojo back ahead of the highly-anticipated two-match Test series against New Zealand, starting February 21 in Wellington.

Featuring in the warm-up match against New Zealand XI in Hamilton, Shami put on an exhibition of high quality fast bowling on Saturday (February 15). He used the overcast conditions to great effect and returned with the bowling figures of 3/17 in his 10 overs.

Shami was operated in two spells and the second spell that he bowled post lunch was the one that troubled the NZ XI batsmen, including senior international Jimmy Neesham.

While facing Shami’s length delivery, Neesham went for a full-fledged drive. But such was the seam movement that the ball squeezed back in after pitching to take a small inside edge of Neesham’s bat before crashing on to the stumps.

Here’s the video:

Tim Seifert and Henry Cooper were the other two victims of Shami.

Apart from Shami, Jasprit Bumrah (2/18 in 11 overs), Umesh Yadav (2/49 in 13 overs), Navdeep Saini (2/58 in 15 overs) also did a fine job with the ball as India bundled out NZ XI for 235 in the first innings.
