Intensive Therapeutics is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit, charitable organization that provides group and individual occupational therapy services to children with autism and children with hemiplegia, from stroke, CP, and brain injury.

The mission of Intensive Therapeutics and helping children with special needs is very important to JT Thomas as his younger brother has autism. “My main focus is raising awareness for autism so that we can help children with special needs succeed,” said Thomas. “I’ve always tried to use my platform to do something meaningful that goes beyond football and this is another opportunity to do just that. Intensive Therapeutics offers some amazing therapy programs to a variety of children.  It’s a great environment to spend time with the kids and their families and I couldn’t be happier to host this event for the third consecutive year!”

“We’re thrilled to have JT Thomas as our host again this year,” said Scott Matthews, Executive Director of Intensive Therapeutics. “He’s been supportive of organizations that help children with special needs and we’re excited that he’s helping us move forward with our services. Our vision is to be the premier provider of intensive therapy services and JT Thomas is helping to bring attention and support to our organization.”

“The support of the New York Giants has been tremendous,” Matthews continued. “There is a connection between how we (Intensive Therapeutics) provide therapy services and how all athletes train and prepare for their respective sport. Athletes get better with practice and children with special needs get better with practice. Children require an increased level of intensity of therapy to get better at life skills and to become active/involved participants in their communities.”

The event runs 7pm-10pm and will also include a silent and live auction. For more information about Monday Night Bowling with Big Blue, including tickets and sponsorship opportunities please visit: IntensiveTherapeutics.org
