Around the time people started talking about how the F-Type R's exhaust was loud enough to possibly be on the wrong side of most noise regulations, Jaguar made the only right move and created an even louder car, the F-Type SVR.

As well as a 575-hp supercharged V8, the SVR also comes with a titanium and Inconel exhaust that's 35 lb lighter than the steel unit used on less-hardcore F-Types. As in all F-Types, the engine management software even sprays extra fuel into its cylinders when you lift off the throttle, just to make sure the soundtrack stays entertaining on the road. Yet now, Jaguar suggest you should also try parking your car in a sound-absorbing anechoic chamber for a completely new experience.

Cymatics is the art of visualizing sound waves. In short, if a membrane's surface is covered by fine particles or liquid, once it gets resonated by the waves, different patterns emerge depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency. Luckily, 575 horses worth of hot gasses running through beefy titanium pipes seems to be generating just about the correct driving frequency.
