Creative Climate Leadership 9-14 October - Koper, Slovenia

We're delighted to announce that our Project Manager, Dijana Rakovic, will participate in the Creative Climate Leadership programme in Slovenia, supported by Julie's Bicycle and PiNA

Dijana has been selected to take part in the second CCL course in Koper in October, looking at the role of art and culture in responding to climate change and environmental challenges.  She will join an international cohort of 23 'leaders' working in the areas of policy, education and the arts.

We're excited to be part of this international conversation and to feedback to our artists, partners and networks with the aim of initiating new creative strategies, projects and calls to action.

We're pleased to welcome and host,  David Cuong Nguyen, who has been awarded  an Australian Endeavour Executive Fellowship in association with Counterpoints Arts.

David: "As an experienced community theatre-maker working with migrant-background youth in Australia, I am excited to extend my work through engagement with Counterpoints Arts’ approach to promoting social change through arts practice and peer education."

We're delighted to announce that PSYCHEdelight are our new artists in residence. They will perform Borderline in three venues as part of the Platforma Festival, and we will be supporting them to develop a new piece about the experience of asylum seekers in the UK. Full story here
