Things to do in Middle Georgia: The Georgia National Fair (2022)

The arrival of autumn brings cooler temperatures and a change in seasons but it also signifies The Georgia National Fair has arrived!  This year, from October 6th-16th, 2022, Perry Georgia will be the center of activity in middle GA as it hosts the 33rd Georgia National Fair.  This 10-day event opens its doors from 10am to 10pm, so come out and enjoy all the fair has to offer!

Visitors will be entertained this year with a variety concerts, rides and games, exhibits, family entertainment, nightly fireworks, food, horse shows, livestock, rides, petting zoo, street entertainers, Georgia grown products, and plenty of commercial vendors selling their unique wares. Prices and Daily Schedule for The Georgia National Fair

Adults pay $15 and kids 10 and under get in FREE with a paying adult.  Military and their immediate family members get in FREE on Patriotic Day on October 10th (with military ID cards).

Seniors pay only $10 and groups of 25 or more adults pay $14.  Group tickets must be reserved by September 16th at 5pm. Check at the gate for advance pass prices.

Parking is FREE.

Ride Armbands are $25 on October 6th-7th and October 10th-14th, and $30 on October 16th, and are good for unlimited rides (some restrictions apply).  Come out on Terrific Tuesday (October 11th) and pay only $10 for gate admission. College students can take advantage of College Night on Thursday, October 13th with $10 admission (with valid student ID).

The rides (60+) start up at noon during the week and 10:00am on the weekends.  They run until 10pm each day.

The Georgia National Fair Entertainment

Entertainment at the Georgia National Fair includes concerts, horse and livestock shows, a circus, The Nerveless Nocks Extreme Water Ski and Stunt Show Spectacular, nightly fireworks, petting zoo, stilt circus, sea lion show, racing pigs, story tellers, human/animal stunt shows, and plenty of gifted singers and performers.  There is truly something of interest for every family member!

Cirque Ma’Ceo

The Cirque Ma’Ceo is family oriented entertainment that includes ten exotic breeds of horses featuring bareback riding, trick riding, and tumbling.

Eudora Farms Petting Zoo

Eudora Farms Petting Zoo is an exotic animal exhibit featuring more than 55 animals from Africa, South America, Australia, and Asia. Animal feed will be available for a nominal fee.

The Nerveless Nocks Extreme Water Ski and Stunt Show Spectacular

This water ski and stunt show features a team of highly trained water skiers and stunt performers performing to the theme of Red White and Blue salute to America.
