Hollie Guard turns your phone into a personal safety device. Protect yourself from violence and accidents, record evidence and alert emergency contacts of your whereabouts quickly and easily.
With Hollie Guard you’ll benefit from:
Automatic recording of audio and video evidence that’s shared with your emergency contacts and stored for future reference
A motion sensor that detects trips and falls and automatically alerts your emergency contacts in the event of an accident
Multiple ways of raising an alarm, including shaking your phone, a panic button, as well as meeting and journey triggers
Professional alert monitoring (if you upgrade to Hollie Guard extra)
If you feel like you’re at risk, shake your phone or tap the screen to generate an alert. The app will share your location and record audio and video evidence, these details will be sent to your emergency contacts who can take action and get help.
We are now integrated with the Health Kit to improve battery usage for location when stationary.
Hollie Guard Extra
If you feel you’re at risk and need extra protection you can upgrade to Hollie Guard Extra. Hollie Guard Extra adds a professional alert monitoring service to your profile. If you raise an alert, the audio and video evidence will be shared with a professional response centre who will notify emergency services on your behalf.

Logging in
It’s a grate app and can be amazing to help people when they need it and love the idea but unfortunately every time I try to log into my account it tells me to put my pin in and I do and it says invalid login try again later with an open lock icon. I’ve tried maybe setting up a new account and everything as I thought maybe when I closed the app it reset it and everything was deleted but it still didn’t work. I was recommended this app from 101 so the fact it doesn’t work is quite surprising but I hope that it can get sorted soon as it could be a grate app.

Okay, but free and better options are out there
I downloaded Hollie after seeing it on my
local news, and after Sarah Everard’s disappearance. Immediately as I opened the app, I was hit with a “pay £80 to be extra safe” screen, and I immediately wanted to uninstall it. However, my friend had added me as an emergency contact, and I felt I had to do the same, so I kept it around. Fast forward two weeks and I feel unsafe walking through town, I couldn’t get it open fast enough. In the time it took for me to open it, login, enter my pin and start an alert, the man following me had passed me.
It’s an okay app, and a good idea, but it’s kinda exploitative and not as good as free apps out there.

Amazing app
Absolute fab app, have read through the negative reviews, but I have to say I have never had any issues or problems with the app. So cannot relate to them, although I did test this app out first so I knew how to use it properly, perhaps without doing that, I may of experienced some issues.
I have found this app to be fantastic and has worked absolutely fine for me.
I love the fact it gives your location and If needed video forage, which I have tested out with friends to check it works etc.... it was fab. Would definitely recommend this app.
