Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag has been one of the best comedies of the last decade, but as much as we'd love to see more, we have to agree with star Sian Clifford that it's probably for the best that it doesn't come back for a third series.
The actress, who played Claire in the show, talked about how the comedy hit in an exclusive interview with Digital Spy to promote her upcoming ITV drama Quiz, (in which she plays Diana Ingram, part of a couple who cheated winning the jackpot on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire).
"That story felt so perfectly...not even tied up. I love how messy and unanswered some of it is because that's life," she said.
"And I think that's what Phoebe is so brilliant at. The storytelling...the humanity with which she writes, the realness with which she created those characters.

"The more time goes on, the more resolute we're getting [about not bringing it back]. We're collaborating on something else now and we're really excited about that. But that's way off. We're not going to be doing that for ages, but it is in development.
"So we're having a whale of a time on that, and that's thrilling and exciting. And [Fleabag] has just been the most extraordinary ride but the story is complete, and I honestly think it's like poetry, Fleabag, and series one was its own thing and series two is its own thing and they are works of art.
"It's right that it's done and she's talked about us doing it when we're 50, but who knows where we'll be and they will be."
Many actors struggle to watch themselves back on both the small and big screens, but Clifford sometimes makes an exception.
"I miss playing Claire and actually yesterday I was like 'I'm gonna rewatch it'. Generally I can't [rewatch myself], [but] Quiz, I've watched multiple times. When you're connected to a project like that, and I had the same with Fleabag, I think it's maybe easier to watch yourself.
"I can forget it's me, but not with all my work. I can't watch certain things. I can't watch Vanity Fair, for example. And Two Weeks To Live, I'm struggling to watch a little bit."
Quiz will air on ITV later this year.
