Few people could compete with the likes of Chewbacca anywhere, let alone on the red carpet for the Han Solo, but the Mother Of Dragons was the one to do it.
Emilia Clarke took to the red carpet at Cannes for the spin-off movie, and looked every inch Khaleesi in her dramatic gown and blonde hair.
While Chewie also looked fabulous, he paled into insignificance next to the Breaker Of Chains and her humongous grin.
Chewie had obviously gone to some effort, brushing his hair and putting on his best ammunition belt, but there was no beating Emilia, who plays Qi’ra in the movie.
And by the look of that glare, he knew it.
Some Storm Troopers even got involved at the event.
50 Cent also popped up for the screening, as did John Travolta, but in fairness to Chewbacca he did manage to trump them.
Solo: A Star Wars Story sees Han as the lead character, and will follow him in his years before becoming a member of the Rebellion.
Donald Glover plays Lando Calrissian, and we’ll also get to see a young Chewbacca as his right-hand man.
The new Hans Solo movie is already on track to make $150 million (£170 million) at the box office. This would just about take over the $155 million (£110 million) debut for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which hit cinemas in December 2016.
Excitement for the film is growing, and UK fans will get to see Solo: A Star Wars Story a day earlier than everyone else, with it set to hit cinemas on 24 May.
