I have many Sedums planted on my property. When they start blooming in late summer/early fall, the honeybees and butterflies are very abundant. You'd never know there was a honeybee crisis! So so many. And so wonderful to see!

I planted coreopsis (tickweek) var. Berry Chiffon last June, and it is still going strong with new blooms, as well as holding onto the older ones (no dead-heading required), well in to October in my southwest Michigan 6b zone. We have not had frost yet, but have had cold, rainy, windy days and prolonged overcast. I am still amazed by the profusion of flowers, and the strength of the deceptively delicate-looking stalk and foliage.
