Celebrities, like most humans, don't go around talking to strangers about their sex lives. But once in a while they do let some secrets slip in a tweet or interview. Here's are some of the juiciest bedroom confessions—from first-times to favorite positions, self-love to BDE—spilled by your faves.
The Reason You Know About BDE
In a since-deleted tweet reply in June 2018—that is, if you believe the screenshot is to be believed, which, why not!—Ariana Grande told the world that fiancé/SNL star Pete Davidson has 10 inches of Big Dick Energy and the world cried memes of joy. Big congrats to the lovely couple!
Flying High
As we learned in our June 2014 cover story, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are card-carrying members of the Mile High Club. "We were on our way to Thailand to see my parents, flying commercial first-class," she recalled. "We were under a blanket. We weren't even in one of those pod things. I feel like we should get a trophy for that."
Sharp Objects
In an interview with Elle, Armie Hammer recalled a particularly unnerving bedroom experience with an ex. She tried something a little, let's say, unconventional while the two were having sex—stabbing him. "She was like, 'True love leaves scars. You don't have any," he told the magazine in June 2013. "And then she tried to stab me with a butcher knife. Of course I promptly broke up with her...Seven months later."
Bathroom Break
Intermissions can be a drag—unless you're Drew Barrymore. That is, at least according to ex-boyfriend The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti who recalled a night-out at the opera with Barrymore when the two snuck off to the restroom for, well, you know. "If we'd gone to the men's room people would've heard it and said, 'Good on you, man,'" he said according to the Chicago Tribune. "But we were in the ladies' room, and when we heard an old woman start to tinkle, we couldn't help but crack up." It wasn't long before security showed up.
Lots of Love
Q: How many times a day does Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West have sex? A: Like, 500. At least according to an exhausted (and exaggerating—probably?) Mrs. West in a scene from the tenth season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Head Over Heels
In an April 2015 Vanity Fair cover story, Robin Wright described her relationship with her now former fiancé Ben Foster in terms best described as a cross between heart-eyes-emoji and tongue-wagging emoji: “I’ve never been happier in my life than I am today," she told the magazine. "Perhaps it’s not ladylike [to say], but I’ve never laughed more, read more, or come more than with Ben.”
TMI, Dude
In a Reddit AMA in October 2016, Joe Jonas revealed he lost his virginity to a girl named Ashley. Hmm, who could that be? "I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley," he wrote. "You can probably just Google it. It's pretty easy to figure out." Jonas' famous ex-girlfriend Ashley Greene was reportedly not thrilled about his confession.
Working On Her Fitness
Sex does a body real good, apparently. Exhibit A: Miranda Kerr. In a March 2014 cover interview with British GQ, a then single Kerr said, "One thing I've noticed is now that I'm having less sex my body isn't as toned. The more sex I have, the more defined my arms and stomach get."
Hit The Showers
Ricky Martin shared in a 2006 Blender interview that he enjoys “giving the golden shower." Per The Daily Beast, Martin added, "It’s like so sexy, you know, the temperature of your body and the shower water is very different.”
Close Contact
In a 2010 interview with Playboy, Cameron Diaz confessed that she's “primal on an animalistic level, kind of like, ‘Bonk me over the head, throw me over your shoulder. You man, me woman.’" She also added, "I love physical contact. I have to be touching my lover, like, always. It’s not optional.”
Tess Holliday Talks About Sex
Model and mother Tess Holliday opens up about real sex.
It's All Good
In Miley Cyrus' bracingly honest June 2015 Paper magazine cover profile, she revealed she is "literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that's legal, I'm down with."
Wax On, Wax Off
When asked about the best sex advice she gives girlfriends in a 2005 interview with Cosmopolitan, Eva Longoria said, "Get a Brazilian wax. It makes sex better, orgasmwise. It's like the difference between this [she pats her arm lightly] and this [rubs her arm]." OK, then! She also added, "I swear by it. Every woman should try a Brazilian wax once. And then the sex they have afterward will make them keep coming back!"
First Time Blues
Lady Gaga told Grazia magazine in March 2011 that she lost her virginity at 17—and it's not exactly a happy memory. "But I have to say even then I wasn’t ready and it was an absolutely terrible experience," she told the magazine. "It wasn’t good at all."
:(
Fright Night
Ke$ha's tracks are inspired by her real-life relationships. The supernatural ones, too. She told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show in September 2012 that her song "Supernatural" was inspired by "a couple of experiences with the supernatural." "I don’t know his name!" she added. "He was a ghost! I’m very open to it.
Kinky Boots
In a 2015 Elle interview, Nick Lachey divulged "sort of a kinky thing we [he and ex-wife Jessica Simpson] liked to get into": Walking around in Simpson's shoes.
Dangerous Woman
John Mayer writes love songs. When he speaks, things are, let's say, a little more intense. Take, for instance, his March 2010 Playboy cover interview. Mayer described ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson as "crack cocaine" and "sexual napalm" to the magazine. He added that, "Sexually it was crazy."
Ride 'Em, Cowgirl
Zoe Saldana revealed one of her favorite sex positions in a July 2013 episode of The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet: "I have to say, for a long time I was a bit lazy so I didn't like to be on top, but I'm really digging it," Saldana said.
The Great Outdoors
Sometimes hot and heavy is temporary. Take, for instance, Naya Rivera's relationship with rapper Big Sean. In a February 2014 cover interview with Cosmo Latina, Rivera admitted she and her then-fiancé had sex in public. In fact, “We have sex everywhere!”
This Guy
In March 2006, Wilmer Valderrama had, uh, quite the revealing interview on The Howard Stern Show. Among a gazillion other did-he-just-say-that moments in the interview, Valderrama described what it was like sleeping with some of his famous exes, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lindsay Lohan, and Ashlee Simpson, and claimed he'd "snatched" Mandy Moore's virginity. Cue eye roll.
