Authorities say two siblings were the victims of a fiery one-car crash after midnight Sunday in St. Francis.
Their car likely was westbound on 229th Avenue Northwest when it entered the south ditch, struck a tree and caught fire, according to St. Francis police.
Firefighters extinguished the fire about 1:10 a.m. Sunday and found two people dead inside the car, police said.
On Monday, Anoka County authorities identified the victims as Cassandra Marie Carlson, 23, and Josiah James Carlson, 21, both of St. Francis.
The crash remains under investigation.
