The live-action adaptation of The Lion King is continuing to fill out its cast. We know James Earl Jones is Mufasa and Donald Glover is Simba. Oscar-nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor just recently joined as Scar, and it’s strongly rumored that Beyonce could be Nala.

Now, another heavy-hitter has joined the ranks.

Veteran actress Alfre Woodard will voice Sarabi, the mother of Simba, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Other voice actors that have been confirmed are Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and John Oliver.

The movie is currently being filmed in Los Angeles. Jon Favreau is its director.

Woodard  stars in Marvel’s Luke Cage as Mariah Dillard and has two films coming up — Saint Judy with Common and Michelle Monaghan, and also the movie Juanita.
