MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Four chefs with Memphis connections will represent the country's best barbecue on Food Network's "Chopped."

Memphis is one of four regions featured on the upcoming Chopped Grill Masters, alongside Kansas City, North Carolina, and Texas.

Claire Campbell, a fashion model-turned-pitmaster, attended Ole Miss and has been grilling up Memphis-style BBQ since she was three years old.

Walter Crutchfield, Jr., the owner of Crutchfield's BBQ in Memphis, will try to make his hometown proud.

Melvin 'Boots' Johnson lives in New York City, but has been cooking barbecue for years and utilizes a Memphis style.

Ernie Mellor owns Hog Wild catering company in Memphis, and has cooked for Prince William and Prince Harry before making his way to Chopped.

The winner between Campbell, Crutchfield, Johnson, and Mellor will compete against the champions from the Texas, North Carolina, and Kansas City episodes to determine an ultimate grill master champion.
