Grenfell families need mental health support

Senior Political Correspondent

It’s been three months since the Grenfell fire left at least 80 people dead. Dozens of families lost homes and tonight the Communities Secretary Sajid Javid admitted that the number of families who have been permanently rehoused was “still low”, with only 10 accepting offers and only two actually moving in. The need for mental health support for survivors and the bereaved has been central to the relief effort. It has been one of issues championed by two notable residents of Kensington and Chelsea, the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry. They were in Kensington today offering help and support to those affected.
