The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, which is known for their luxury hotels, is announcing the Ritz Carlton Luxury Cruise Expansion, which involves the construction of three yachts that will hit the water in the next several years. Here’s what we know about this new cruise line so far.

The Ships

Each of the three ships will be able to accommodate 298 passengers. There will be 149 balcony suites as well as 2 duplex penthouse suites. Guests will be able to enjoy an experience similar to that in which they would get at a Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Β There will be a spa, wine bar and lounge.

Luxurious Offerings

As you can expect, cruisers will be able to find some luxurious offerings that they wouldn’t be able to on another ship. There will be a helicopter pad for those that will be flying in. There’s also going to be a marina platform where cruisers can take a ride on a speedboat or use a kayak. There will also be an infinity pool on the ship. In additional to all of this, there will be a variety of chefs to prepare world class meals. While the entertainment line up hasn’t been announced, it will probably include some well-known names. Throughout the time on this ship, guests will experience a high level of customer service with their every need being met.

Itineraries

While no homeport has been announced yet, we do know that cruises will range anywhere from 7-10 days. Destinations will include the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the Mediterranean. The focus will be on smaller ports as the ship will be small enough that it will be able to make stops in places that larger cruise ships haven’t been able to such as St. Barths.

These new luxury cruises aren’t really a stretch for the Ritz-Carlton Company as they seem to have a fascination with cruise ships as the property of the company, located on South Beach, resembles an ocean liner. These new luxury ships will be in great company as there are already several of these types of ships on the water today including the Regent, Silversea and Seabourn. The first of these ships is expected to set sail in 2019. The other two ships are expected to launch in 2021 and 2022. Reservations will be open in May 2018 for those that want to reserve their room early.
