TUCSON, Ariz. -- The 15th-ranked Arizona Wildcats will return home to host the Wildcat Spring Challenge after a 14 game away streak. The tournament will take place April 6-7 at Bear Down Beach where the Cats will host Stetson, Colorado Mesa, No. 14 California, and rivals Arizona State.

All four of Arizona's matches will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.

UA went 3-1 at last week's LSU Tournament to improve to 12-8 overall. Arizona's No. 1 pair of Olivia Macdonald and Natalie Anselmo lead the team with a (14-6) pairs record. Defender Jonny Baham also leads the team with a 14-5 individual record.

UA takes on the Stetson Hatters at 2:30 p.m. MST on Friday and will close out the day's play at 6:00 p.m. MST against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

To open up morning play, No. 15 Arizona will face Colorado Mesa at 9:30 a.m. MST followed by a match against No. 14 California at 12:30 MST.

Arizona meets their rivals for the first time this season since the Fall Exhibition match in October 2017. The Cats face the No. 14 California Bears for the second time this season, since falling 1-4 at the Pac-12 South Invitational.

Bear Down Beach is located at Jimenez Field, home to the former practice football fields on the corner of Enke Dr. and Campbell Ave. Admission to all home beach volleyball matches is free. Fans are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.
