232 Tickets Issued In 1-Day Speed Crackdown On Hwy 84
Sixteen officers worked Thursday's Isabel Road enforcement effort in Livermore area.
LIVERMORE, CA – During a Thursday speed-enforcement operation on Highway 84 in Livermore, 232 citations were issued to motorists, according to the Livermore Police Department Traffic Unit.
Sixteen officers worked the Isabel Road effort, police said. Joining the Livermore unit were officers from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, Dublin Police Services and the Pleasanton Police Department, officials said.
"This roadway has seen its fair share of serious traffic collisions, and our hopes are that increased enforcement will help slow down motorists and change poor driving behaviors," Livermore police said.
