Boil advisory that closed Rossville schools lifted

ROSSVILLE, Kan. (WIBW) — BREAKING NEWS: The boil advisory that forced a couple of Rossville schools to close early Wednesday is over.
On Thursday, the Kansas Dept.
of Health and Environment rescinded the boil order covering the City of Rossville.
The agency says laboratory testing found no evidence of contamination.
The advisory was issued after a loss in pressure led to fears of a loss in chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination.
Following the advisory, Kaw Valley USD 321 said both Rossville Grade School and Rossville Junior/Senior High School would close at 12:15 p.m. that day because they wouldn’t have any water.
