CashBag.co Marketplace — Announcing our partnership with Origin Protocol
Our mission at CashBag.co is to decentralize the e-commerce market and empower shoppers to earn meaningful instant cash back rewards when supporting their favorite brands online & in store. CashBag is currently in presale ICO phase and the public token sale starts 12 March.
Today we are extremely pleased to announce that we will be integrating CashBag.co with the Origin Protocol to enable our members to use the CashBagCoin (CBC) ERC20 cryptocurrency token to power transactions on our blockchain-powered marketplace.
Our members earn instant rewards issued in CashBagCoin when they shop any one of our hundreds to global shopping partners. CBC can then be used within the CashBag platform for peer-to-peer transactions, to list or buy goods in our marketplace or redeemed for cash.
Origin Protocol enables both traditional marketplaces and fractional-use or sharing economy marketplaces (like short-term rentals or ride sharing) to function in a completely distributed way using Ethereum and IPFS. We are excited to be building on the Origin platform and collaborating with the talented Origin development team, which is based in San Francisco. Origin is a highly pedigreed company — they are backed by Pantera Capital and the founders have a long track record of success.
Partnering with Origin and their development team will allow us to get to market faster and launch our integrated CashBag peer-to-peer and B2C marketplace. The shared network effects of being an Origin partner will make user acquisition and adoption easier.
