This plant growth also helps to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere.
The extensive ECOSoundBlok® Noise barrier System, is the absolute ‘top of the tree’ when it comes to green noise barriers. A screen of living green is a structure that is able to save space and grow to full size without the need for any artificial edifice, thanks to natural precipitation.
Specification
Gramm Barriers ECOSoundBlok® system is constructed from 3 key elements, Bespoke self-supporting structural steel framework, Acoustic outer matting and steel vertical supports. The barrier has been designed to limit the amount of soil being removed from site which can now be installed directly into the ECOSoundBlok® noise barrier system. The ECOSoundBlok® system has been designed to eliminate the need for any supplementary provisions in terms of irrigation installations. With a design life of 60+ years, low maintenance, graffiti resistant and ability to add greenery and CO2 reduction, the Gramm ECOSoundBlok® offers a vast number of benefits which will help improve any site.

Foundation types
Gramm’s ECOSoundBlok® has been specifically designed to eliminate the need for concrete or piled footings. The barrier only requires a 300 – 400mm sub base or well compacted existing ground.
