The Yellowhead Chiefs moved to within four points of the Southwest Cougars for first place in the Winnipeg AAA Hockey League’s Bantam 1 West Division after wining a pair of games on the weekend.

Sloan Stanick and Connor Geekie both scored twice on Sunday in Roblin as the Chiefs (12-8-1-0-0) earned a 10-2 win over the Parkland Rangers (9-6-0-2-0).

On Saturday, Geekie, Briley Wood and Sam Wilman all potted a pair in Yellowhead’s 7-1 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings in Shoal Lake. Wotton had the other goal.

Deniz Ntelioglou replied for Brandon (4-16-0-0-0).
