Anywhere Urgent Care, launched by local nurse practitioner Eileen Flavin, is the first of its kind in Colorado Springs.

Flavin and her staff will come to a patient’s home after-hours and on weekends, when doctors’ offices are traditionally closed.

“Typically we get to spend a little more time in the home with the patient than we would at the clinic,” Flavin said. “A lot of times when you’re at the clinic, people are just feeling like a number.”

“It’s convenient,” patient Nancy Ruppert said. “After hours, to go to some of these facilities is not only really expensive, but if you’re really sick, it’s hard to get there.”

Anywhere Urgent Care will begin to work with most insurance companies in 2018.
