Local people with burning questions about how to cut their fuel bills will find answers at advice sessions running as part of Big Energy Saving Week from 22 to 28 January.
Nottingham City Council has partnered with local energy advice organisations to run a series of advice sessions across Nottingham during the national week, which focuses on raising public awareness of how to switch energy supplier or tariff to get the best deal, access discounts and make homes energy efficient.
The events will be taking place at libraries and leisure centres across the city, and everybody is welcome to attend. Energy specialists will be on hand to answer questions about a variety issues including fuel debt, switching supplier, saving energy in the home and accessing grants for energy efficiency works.
Many people could save hundreds of pounds a year on their energy bills by switching supplier and making small changes as to how they use energy in the home. High energy bills are a big concern for households and as cold weather arrives it’s the perfect time for people to make sure they and their bills are prepared.
• Monday 22 January – The Dales Library, 1.30pm to 4.30pm
• Wednesday 24 January – Central Library 1pm to 4pm
• Thursday 25 January – Aspley Library 9.30am to 12pm
