Blaire & Josh are such a fun couple and they were so excited to see each other for the first time at their ceremony. Before her walk down the aisle Blaire chose to have a first look with her father and brother. Y’all, this was the sweetest moment! Brides, I highly recommend that you have a first look with the men of your family – father, brother, grandfather. And, hey, grooms — I would love to capture the moment your mom sees you for the first time too! Such a fun idea.
So, how did these two meet? Blaire says it’s kinda a funny story but they met on Tinder — it’s the meetcute of the 21s century! Speaking of cute, Josh proposed to Blaire on Valentines day. Blaire’s father took her to get her nails done beforehand and she was still completely surprised when Josh popped the question!
There were some really cool details that Blaire and her mother selected for the wedding day. My personal favorite was her bridal bouquet. The peony flowers came from her grandmothers memorial site & wrapped around her bouquet was her grandfathers pocket watch. The reception centerpieces for this yacht club wedding featured family heirlooms of crystal vases and silver that were accented by vibrant flowers.
We were able to photograph some beautiful & fun couples portraits down on the docks before the couple set sail as their guests waived to them from the shoreline. Before boarding the couple shared a grand exit through gold pompoms — y’all, this is definitely a new favorite wedding exit for us! This is a perfect option for couples who are not allowed to have sparklers at their venue!
