It's still not time for the premiere of Game of Thrones season eight, but we have somewhat good news: Khal Drogo and Dany had a sweet reunion on the throne over the weekend and there are glorious photos to prove it.

Late Sunday night (June 3), Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa took to their respective Instagram accounts to share footage of their meetup, which included a recreation of the famous Dirty Dancing lift sans lake, which means they were 100 per cent dry.

Jason, who was sitting for the lift, made no attempt to actually raise Emilia for the recreation, a move that confused her. But all in all, both were delighted that the lift even happened. "I'd like to take a moment to thank alcohol for giving me courage to attempt this. Ever," she wrote on Instagram.

For his part, Jason referred to his former co-star as the "moon of my life", a nod to what Khal Drogo always called his Khaleesi. "Every time I leave you my face hurts from smiling too much," he wrote. "I f**king love you forever."

Feel free to let the tears roll down your face as you press play on this mini Instagram album of their various poses, which included both of them sitting on the throne together.

Before you jump to the only conclusion possible (that Jason is only there because he was somehow involved in season eight), consider his other Instagram caption for photos he took with the other cast members.

"I'm so grateful to be apart [sic] of the greatest show on earth. I'm honored to be able to come to Ireland and celebrate with my friends. I'm just here for kisses and hugs and The black stuff," likely referring to beverage of choice, Guinness.

FYI, he also did the lift with Kit Harington, which is kind of weird considering what season eight holds for Dany and Jon Snow… Is this Drogo's way of giving his boo his blessing?

Of course, other photos were taken at this cast party, which we refuse to call a wrap party, because Game of Thrones should be on forever. Here are Emilia and Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) hamming it up with swords and crowns with their voice and accent coach, Jan Haydn Rowles. Let's not read too much into this photo, either.

Game of Thrones season 8, which will consist of six movie-length episodes, is set to premiere in April 2019.
