Miklos Philips UX Designer
Hi, I'm Miklos,
a Lead UX/Product Designer

UX and Product Design are my passions

I am a seasoned product designer with over 16 years of experience across B2B and B2C sectors. I remain a hands-on practitioner while effectively leading small design teams (when needed) known for delivering high-quality work within time and budget constraints.

My passion lies in simplifying complex problems with elegant solutions that delight users. Certified in design strategy with a keen interest in the neuroscience of UX I excel at balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. This focus drives the creation of products that solve user problems and positively impact the bottom line.

Driven by my commitment to UX and product design, I frequently write articles , speak at conferences, and mentor emerging designers.

My human-centered design process
Research and Observation

Conducting user research. Making assumptions and hypotheses. Answering the critical question: “Who are we designing for?”

Identifying Users and Ideation

Distilling user research. Building empathy maps. Crafting personas and customer journey maps. Sketching and wireframing.

Wireframing and Prototyping

Testing solutions by simulating the look and feel, and the functionality of a real product. Iterating on feedback and usability tests.

User Testing and Validation

User testing and validation: does the product solve a problem? Usability testing: is the product usable by people?

Iteration

Based on learnings and key insights from user testing, perfect the design by iterating prototypes and repeating user testing.

Implementation and Measurement

Ensure pixel-perfect implementation by a proper hand-off to development teams and perform design QA. Measure, and analyze user data.

Empathy is at the heart of design.
Without the understanding of what others see, feel, and experience, design is a pointless task.
