HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's been a chilly few days in the islands, at least on Hawaii standards.

In fact, several spots registered record lows, according to the National Weather Service.

Lihue saw record lows all week, with temps dropping to 61 degrees on Monday.

Meanwhile, the temperature in Kahului dropped to a record 58 degrees on Monday, 10 degrees lower than normal.

And in Hilo, it was a brisk 60 degrees on Monday (also a record low).

The temperatures in Honolulu didn't set any records, but it was still pretty chilly with lows in the mid-60s.

Some communities have seen even cooler temps thanks to a lower pressure system that's bringing cool, dry air to the state.

If you like the chilly weather, the good news is it will be around for at least another day.

But by Thanksgiving, the tradewinds are expected to have returned and more typical November temps for the islands are expected.
