Sigh, my late wife and I would enjoy the drive to Monroe, stop in for picnic fixings, cheese, wine, meat, crackers, fruit, all fresh and tasty, something we later enjoyed with the kids, letting them try samples of fruit and cheese, but we never went to Monroe without a stop at Brennan's.

Your store on University is the best, especially accepting people with disabilities! I am pretty sure every employee interacts with my son that has autism. It makes his day and he will especially miss your management , and the best pea pods and apples in town.

I'm convinced Brennan's is the only reason my kids aren't so picky about foods, especially fresh fruit. I grew up extremely picky and still have a problem with many foods today but my kids grew up shopping at Brennan's for fruit. It allowed them to have samples (which they still ask to go often for now) and try new fruits and veggies I wouldn't have necessarily bought. We've found out they love so much and now eat almost anything. What other store lets you do that? Thanks Brennan's

My grandson grew up at Brennan's in Brookfield. From a tiny baby propped up in the cart seat munching happily on melons and cheese to a 10 year old hoping to work in the cheese department when he started high school. Because of Brennan's a little boy expanded his food choices while interacting with wonderful staff who always remember his name and even notice when he's grown taller. Thank you Brennan's. We will miss you all and especially the Clinch Mountain tomatoes and the Idaho peaches. --

Brennan's Market has always been my family's first grocery stop. We bought absolutely everything we could from your store first, as we wanted to support the business as much as possible. Both of our boys went through phases where the only thing they would eat were Brennan's samples! Even the youngest would eat the fruit samples and he hates fruit! We offered the manager, John at the Watt's Rd location back then, to pay for the things the boys ate, which sometimes was a lot. He told us no way and would point out samples to the boys they hadn't seen yet. This is a sad day and Brennan's will be missed. There are no other stores in Madison that even comes close, particularly for fruit
